Itinerary
Early in the morning you will depart towards Soraypapampa 3876m. Where we meet our crew that will hike with us during 3 days. We start the hike going up towards Humantay Lake 4272m. Then come back down to Soraypampa and go up to the campsite near by the Salkantay Glacier in Soyrococha 4480m.
Upon leaving the campsite you will embark on the most difficult that consist going up to the highest point in Salkantay Pass 4580m. in front of the Salkantay mountain then down hill towards Huayracmachay 3850m for lunch and keep going all the way down to Collpapampa for dinner in campsite.
On the third day you will have a half day hike on the river side passing by granadilla trees, coffee plants and a different ecosystem towards the campsite for a relaxing afternoon or roast and drink your own coffee then go to the hot springs in Santa Teresa town.
Today we take a vehicle towards lucmabamba to keep hiking along well preserve original Inca Trail Towards Llactapata and the first view of Machupicchu from the distance go down to the Hydroelectric of Machupicchu then walk on the train tracks to reach your hotel in Aguas calientes.
Explore with your guide one of the new Seven Wonders of the World the enigmatic Machupicchu that was never found by the Spaniards, well protected by nature during more than three hundred years and only exposed to the world in 1911, then return to the city of Cusco.
